Note strong blue-grey hue to crown and surrounds of ear-coverts, white supercilium and dark eye-stripe. The extent of the pale centre to the ear-coverts recalls beema rather than classic flava and is likely to result from some ingression of flavissima genes. Individuals of this type are now commonly referred to as 'Channel Wagtail'.
